Loom and Leaf Mattress Review
Despite being new in the online mattress crowd, the Loom & Leaf mattress is actually developed by Saatva, an online company that’s been in the business of giving you a good night’s sleep for 3 years. So what makes the Loom & Leaf mattress so special? I’ve created an easy to digest Loom and Leaf mattress review below. Hope it helps!
Breaking Down The Layers:
Created with 4 different foam layers, expect the Loom & Leaf mattress to be thicker than your standard Leesa or Casper.
The Layer Makeup (total 12-inch):
Top Layer – 2-inch memory foam infused with conforming gel. This keeps the foam cool when used.
Second Layer – 2.5-inch memory foam which works by providing pressure point support by contouring to your body.
Third Layer – 2-inch transition pad which sort of acts as a bind for the two foams to work great together.
Fourth Layer – 5.5-inch support foam. This is durable and acts as a sturdy base for the entire structure.
This gargantuan layer of foam ensures you get comfort while staying cool even with the memory foam around. As for firmness, you can choose from two versions available: there’s the Loom & Leaf Firm and the Loom & Leaf Relaxed Firm. The former is firmer while the latter is made for those who prefer a semi-hug. On their website they describe it as a mattress that’s “not too hard, not too soft, ‘just right’ support.”
You don’t see options offered from online mattress companies very often, so this is icing on the cake. For this review, we are going to talk about the the Loom & Leaf Relaxed Firm.
All About the Loom and Leaf Mattress:
First of all, the cotton quilt cover is beautiful and really passes the eye test. I also found that the foam layers really do a nice job reacting to your body weight – the mattress truly conforms to your body shape as you lie down. Memory foam is known to be an excellent product and Loom & Leaf has played off its properties and improved on it just right. No matter what position you decide to roll in, the hug from the bed is exquisite. You won’t feel the sink but instead a soft comfort while receiving the support you need from all sides.
One thing I’m really happy with this mattress is its cooling properties. If even the slightest heat from your mattress bothers you, there’s nothing to complain about with the Loom & Leaf mattress. The company has spared no expense in creating a top-notch product you can be cosy in no matter what type of a sleeper you are.
Final Verdict:
For the price, it’s higher compared to the Casper and the Leesa mattresses but for the luxurious quality that the Loom & Leaf mattress is made from, the price is more than reasonable. There’s a 75-day trial period as well for those interested.
Overall, the Loom & Leaf mattress is built for almost anyone. You can sleep on your sides, back or front and get good body support. The cooling features are amazing! I repeat: amazing! Plus, you get the value of green or organic materials used in the bed. The multiple firmness option is a nice gesture from the company, as well.
