Top Cover

Casper cover: Offers a two-tone shade, top cover is white while side covers are gray. The top cover offers breathability while the sides are sturdier and can handle rough handling.

Purple: Blend of lycra, polyester and viscose. Provides good stretch and breathability for extra cooling. Quilted cover with embossed details.

Foam Layers

Casper 9,5-inches total, uses 4 layers: top layer is 1.5-inch poly foam creating a cool surface, acting like latex. Second layer is 1.5-inch memory foam with support and pressure relief. Third layer is the 1.5-inch support foam and the last bottom is 5-inch foam support and base layer. (This is the new updated Casper layers, as of June 2017)

Purple is made up of 10 inches of foam; first layer is 2.5 inches of hyper-elastic polymer; second layer is 3.5 inches of support and transition foam; bottom layer is 4 inches of polyurethane for foundation.

The Casper firmness: Provides medium firmness, a 6.5 out of 10 on the scale.

Measures around 7 out of 10 in the firmness scale. If you’re a light sleeper you’ll find it firmer.

Body Support

Casper body support: Good body support with pronounced hug and contour but not to the same extreme as you would feel with memory foam.

The Purple provides great body support ensuring pressure relief and certain parts are cradled.
